స్త్రీలు భగవంతునికి సాష్టాంగ నమస్కారం ఎందుకు చేయకూడదు ? 

భగవంతునికి సాష్టాంగ ప్రణామం పురుషులు చేయవచ్చు . తమ ఎనిమిది అంగాలనూ అనగా వక్షస్థలమూ , నుదురూ , రెండు చేతులూ , రెండు కాళ్ళూ , రెండు కనులూ భూమిపై ఆన్చి నమస్కరించవచ్చు . కానీ స్త్రీలు సాష్టాంగ నమస్కారము చెయ్యాలను కున్నప్పుడు ఉదరము నేలకు తగులుతుంది . ఆ స్థానంలో గర్భకోశం ఉంటుంది . ఇలా చెయ్యటం వల్ల గర్భకోశానికి ఏదైనా కీడు జరిగే అవకాశం ఉంది . అందుకే ఇతిహాసాల్లో ధర్మ శాస్త్రాల్లో  స్త్రీలను మోకాళ్ళపై ఉండి నమస్కరించాలని చెప్పారు . ఇంకా చెయ్యగలిగితే నడుం వంచి ప్రార్ధించవచ్చు .

Why should women not prostrate before God?
